The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946. As one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations, we are committed to enriching, sustaining, and preserving the health, wealth and culture of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry. Our membership consists of more than 17,000 professional women of African descent in 299 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom. https://linksinc.org

The Carolina Pines (NC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is the sixteenth established chapter in NC and serves both Cabarrus and Rowan counties. Our mission is to serve our communities by providing transformational services that make a lasting difference in the lives that we touch!

As with our National organization, we serve under five specific facets that provide structure to the work in our community. Each of these facets, we find valuable community relationships that we partner with. These facets include Services to Youth, The Arts, Health and Human Services, National Trends and Services and International Trends and Services. Our global reach focuses on children with schools in South Africa, Liberia, Jamaica, and the Bahamas as well as services to Haiti for both women and children.

We do all these important works through our most valued legacy of Philanthrophy, Friendship and Service!
