National Trends and Services

The Carolina Pines (NC) Chapter

The National Trends and Services facet is tasked with eliminating disparities by reducing barriers to resources through advocacy, education, and service.

Our chapter has initiated a partnership with the Cabarrus Boys and Girls Club. Our focus has been to provide an atmosphere of reading to empower the young people with a listening ear with topics that are educational, while increasing the exposure to topics that will pique their interest. This facet has also served meals to residents at Rowan Helping Ministries, and provided warm socks, hats and scarves during the Christmas holidays.

Our Facet has collaborated with Services to Youth to present a program on supporting youth transitioning from Foster Care.

Currently, National Trends and Services facet is coordinating a presentation in March 2023, by a local banker, to increase financial literacy through awareness of the importance of budgeting and credit, banking and investing and financing a vehicle.

In the coming year, this facet will continue to collaborate with International Trends and Services, Youth Services, the Arts and Health and Human Services to identify and address needs and seek resources that will enhance and empower our communities.
